Brazilian coach Marco Aurelio da Cunha named Kheybar coach

TEHRAN – Brazilian coach Marco Aurelio da Cunha was named as new head coach of Iranian football club Kheybar.

He replaced Mohammadreza Mohajeri at the Khorramabad-based club.

Aurelio, 59, has previously worked in Iranian club Esteghlal Khuzestan as assistant as well as Iran U19 football team.

Kheybar, who secured promotion to 2024/25 Iran’s Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL), sit 11th in the 16-team table after five weeks.
